Hair extensions add volume and length to a client's natural hair. Sometimes extensions are used to add colour/highlights to your hair without going through a chemical process to achieve it. Extensions can be worn permanently or just once in a while for special occasions.

There are different types of hair extensions as well as different application methods. At Fresh Salon we stock human hair extensions in brands, such as,  Premium Plus, Eternity, Sleek, J'adore and Jazzy. We also stock a wide range of synthetic hair extensions, which are manufactured in a man-made fibre. The hair that we have available for purchase within the salon comes in a number of different colours, styles and lengths up to 24".

Application methods offered by Fresh Salon....

Clip-On Extensions

These are excellent extensions if you plan to use them now and again, and not wear them every day. The clips allow you to clip the extensions into your natural hair with ease, and take them out when finished.

At Fresh Salon we find the most flattering and suitable colour match  and length to meet your requirements, we then measure the extensions to your own particular head shape to ensure that the extensions are a bespoke fit. Lastly we sew the clips into the weft for you. The hair extension brand used is of premium quality and has a generous amount of hair on the weft to create a  large number of clip-on hair extensions.

Weave-On Extensions

The weave-on hair extension application method is very popular. It involves the stylist plaiting your natural hair tight to the scalp in cornrows. The hair extensions are then sewn onto the cornrow. If the hair extensions are cared for properly, weave-on can last up to 6 weeks. We do not use any chemicals or glue in this application method.

Micro-ring Extensions

Small metal rings covered in silicon are used to attach single strands of extension hair to your natural hair and then clamped into place, there is no need for any chemicals, glues or cornrow. This is a very natural look and can be used to add highlights to your natural hair , add volume and add additional length. These extensions can last up to 3 months, depending on how fast your natural hair grows and how well you look after your extensions. After this period of time you can return to the salon to have the metal rings opened and clamped further up the hair strand to maintain the style.

We do not refund human or synthetic extension hair that has been bought from Fresh Salon to either apply in the salon or to take away. Therefore please make sure that you are 100% happy with your selection before purchasing. Please also ensure that you are 100% happy with your hair extensions if applied within the salon, ask as many questions and make any changes that you desire (further charges may occur if any changes result in additional time being spent on your hair style or further products being used), as when you have paid for the services and leave the salon we will deem that you are 100% happy with the service that Fresh Salon has provided. It is very important that you tell us if your weave-on extensions are too tight, before leaving the salon, as  we can then adjust them for you before you leave. Fresh Salon accepts no responsability if your cornrows are too tight and you have not told us before leaving the salon after your appointment (as you will feel immediately if they are too tight when in the salon). We do not refund the cost of applying extensions. If asked how long extensions will last we will give an "average", but the exact time will depend on the individual and how they care for their extensions. Fresh will take no responsability if you have selected the wrong colour, length, thickness or style of hair.
