BBC Radio Stoke contacted Fresh Salon after being intrigued by their latest attempts to differentiate themselves from competing salons within the Crewe area, and truely focusing on the potential target market living on their doorstep.
Reporter Rebecca Wood visited Fresh Salon to speak about their latest efforts to create a diverse team of stylists able to cope with the demands of the local community, by recruiting a Polish Speaking Stylist to cater for the growing Polish speaking population that they are now receiving into the salon as clients.
Fresh successfully recruited a qualified, creative stylist for caucasian hair types whom also spoke fluent Polish. Ania works full-time and is available from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Fantastic New Afro/Hair Extensions Stylist joins the Fresh Team - 01/08/09
Fresh Salon would like to welcome a fantastic and very talented new member to their team of highly experienced stylists. Jai has moved to the area to take up her position as a full-time, Senior Stylist for clients with Afro-Caribbean hair types and those wanting hair extensions.
Jai is extremely creative and can undertake all forms of hair styling, such as weave-on, micro-ring extensions, braids, kinky twists, cornrow, relaxing, dreadlocks and much more! She is looking forward to meeting all existing and future clients! Jai works from 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Friday and from 9am-6pm on Saturday. Later appointments/Monday appointments can be arranged if required.

Gift Vouchers being launched soon! - 17th May 2009
Fresh is launching a range of Gift Vouchers for all of those special occasions. The vouchers will be available in two quantities, £5 and £10. They will be available within the next few weeks.
New Hair Steamer = "Steaming Promotion" - 13th December 2008
Fresh has just introduced a "Hair Steaming" to their service offering. Hair Steaming is recommended to deal with the dryness of Afro hair, regular treatments at your salon will enhance the condition of your hair, locking in moisture and reducing breakage.
Up until the end of January 2009, we are runnng a promotion on our Hair Steaming Service, each treatment has been reduced to £20 from the normal price of £25.

THERE'S a head-turning new addition to Nantwich Road in Crewe which aims to fill a gap in the market.
The Fresh Afro and European Hair Salon has been launched to meet the growing need for Afro hair-styling not only within the town but as far a field as Wrexham and Shrewsbury.
Fresh offers barbering services, as well as braids, weaves, cornrow, relaxing, pick and drop, dreadlocks, twists - to mention just a few. It also stocks a number of Afro health and beauty products.
Salon Owner , Funsho Boladuro said: "This business was created in a niche market. However, our services, especially hair extensions and braids are also extremely popular with our mixed-race and caucasian clients."
